Its highly intumescent, non-sag formulation is easy to apply using a standard caulking gun and requires no mixing or special tools. Once cured, it forms a flexible elastomeric seal capable of accommodating normal building movement, making it an excellent choice for both new construction and retrofit projects. Paintable, VOC compliant, and protected against mold growth, Metacaulk® 1000 delivers dependable long-term performance in demanding environments.
